 Taken at my uncle and aunt's house while on vacation this summer. My Rebel broke *sob* and so I used my mom's old Sony, which did the job, but I still miss my Rebel... : (

I find my eye going to the wood instead of to the metal and the rust. I think some fill in flash to light up the shadows would also help.

the shadows have little or no detail, something you can work on. I like the texture in the background.

What a very nice abstract! The textures, tones and shading are balanced so nicely as to give a feeling of a visual mobile hanging before me. 9.

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but the focal point falls behind the metal, which is a little blurred. Not such a striking subject. 4

For my eye, too much detail is lost in the shadows. Interesting composition.

I wish the lighting in this shot was different. The heavy shadow on the top of the piece in the foreground is hard to look at.

This image has such wonderful texture! Good diagonals, not too much black in the upper right-hand corner to distract the eye - it's perfect! I'm giving it a 10!!!
