Nice and the colours are great. Tis a pity that they are slighty out of focus. The objects in the backgroung are infocus

With a less busy backdrop (like a catalog shot) I think they'd have a great look of serious sophistication -- which I love juxtaposed with the tie-dyed hats.
I hope they weren't just upset with you for taking the photo...

This is so cute!

Looks like an average snapshot I'd find in someone's photo albumn. I would have prefered to see some interaction between mother and daughter, some emotion or facial expression. Sun is also too bright and the shadow across the eyes by the hats kills the picture.

Colors seem a bit saturated from all the light, I'd suggest a faster shutter speed or a smaller aperture.

The hats and sun worked to your disadvantage on this .... they made the faces mostly dark ... that makes a nice photo, with a lot of color only OK ... try getting them in the shade or with some more direct lighting or a fill flash.

Nice colors -- I have a shirt that would match perfectly. :-) The little girl's expression and how she is looking at the camera is precious.

If it only weren't for those harsh shadows under the rim of the hats! A fill-in would probably make the job.

The apple does not fall far from the tree, they say... I like how the child is checking you out from beneath the brim. Very cute.

Cute idea. Color appears close to right, but why do I keep thinking over the top? Did you turn the color up? Try down a half step. Look at the orange lip on mom's hat, do you see a bright orange line at the shade line? Little girl's shirt almost washed out, it's tan, right?

I really like the subject of this photo, but the image itself seems a little off -- even a little grainy. I'm not sure if this is just the camera or your settings you were using.

Nice composition. The softness gives almost a surreal look. I'm wondering if a little fill flash might have shown us the little girls eyes while still leaving a noteable shadow.

Would've been nice to see a little more of the girl's eyes/expression. Might've tried a fill flash. I like the way the various colours of the hats and shirts frame the faces.

LIke the colours, composition is great. Too bad can't see the eyes. That spoils it for me.

Oh, man, what a great idea! A couple of things to try differently though: get lower and use backfill flash so you can see the eyes - the eyes are the most important thing to have visible and in focus in both human and animal shots - they make you connect with the subject of the photo. The background is good, expcept for the bright yellow rope on the right.

Not seeing the eyes actually helps make this photo. The colors are great. Good Separation from background and composition.

I love the colors on these hats and they way the shadows hide their eyes.. good shot!

Like a test pattern for your color saturation settings

Good catch, colorful and nice skin tones. Well done. Little OOF.

little blurry
busy background, would've helped if it was thrown a tad out-of-focus
