The strawberries and blender were photographed in my kitchen with a combination of natural and fluorescent light. Camera was mounted on a tripod.
The final smoothie was photographed in my studio with a 120 watt light to the left and two 60 watt lights to the right, while the camera was mounted on tripod.
I know the colors aren't consistent but I didn't want to mess with them.

Hello there.
Nice subject for the tryptic challenge, meets the challenge well.
Composition on each individual shot is done well, but I think the way you combined them could have been stronger. The placement of the strawberry shot is a little off, I think if you had not overlapped it with the other shot it would have improved the visual impact.
Technically, the strawberry image looks digital, could have been the lighting, but to me it lacks sharpness, looks like maybe there was some camera shake. The blender image is strong and works well and the finished smoothie looks like it was lit well, but the background is too grey and drab for such a subject, there is also a dark grey line on the bottom of it that is a bit distracting.
I don't think that is a "hair" on the bottom of the glass, it looks to me like one of those circles you see on the bottom of some glasses, but I can see how someone could mistake it for that, maybe a "cleaner" glass next time.
I like the frame, the colors are nice and compliment the images well, maybe a thinner outer border would be a bit better.
Over all a good job on the challenge, telling the story of smoothie making well.
This looks delicious. The one thing that bothers me though, is on the photo on the right, on the base of the glass, there is a hair. that takes all the deliciousness away and makes me think gross. Also, the strawberries look a bit oversaturated, and the leaves of the one on the glass are kind of brown and crusty. While I think you have an excelent set up and combination of photos, it needs a bit of fine tuning and cleaning up. Good luck in the challenge.
The boarder on this shot is overpowering. I'm not sure why the strawberry shot is overlapping the other two. The right side shot comes off dark and drab (which doesn't seem fitting to the subject). And these images don't really seem to flow from one to the next, with the strawberrys shot especially standing out as not really fiting into the sequence (it seems different in style and in tone).
This should do pretty well. Good photography and put together beautifully, if you had better berries this would be an awesome strawberry add! I love the colors you used... overall very well done. One of five -10-'s for the challenge!
You have the makings of a great idea here. The strawberries look a bit over ripe. The overlap is a bit much and the lighting on the final picture is a little dark. Colors and story are great. The border may be a bit over the top as well. Really close!
