 This is a picture of part of Craigend Castle at Mugdock country park. There is a metal fence all the way round as it's dangerous to enter. I took several pictures but thought this would impact more as the trees and leaves have left this beautiful castle as a compost bag only.
I cropped the picture, adjusted curves, levels, USM and some hue/saturation.

thanks to all who commented on this picture. I know a few said it didn't meet the challenge, but it was a nice day,a nice pic and I had fun. It was obsolete,as it wasn't being used anymore and nature had taken over, can't really say more than that about it. (",)

High contrast shots are awfully difficutl The washed out sky just really detracts from this picture. A graduated ND filter or waiting for the sun to change positions would have made this far more effective.

I really like the looks of this picture. It's weird seeing what looks like a dandilion coming out of the wall at the top right. I really like the angles and the ornate edges. The overgrown foilage gives the feeling of obsolete. The sky could look a little better, but that's minor. 9
