A Semi-Trailer wheel shot from behind a fence. Wish I could have gotten a lot closer and cleaned up the tire, but it was a locked lot. Turned out OK regardless. Sepia tinted.

Greetings from the Critique Club! :)

I love the title of this photo and the sepia tint works really well. I'm very impressed that you were able to pick up such a great reflection without getting your reflection as well.

Just a couple of things that I think would have helped make this a stronger shot. First...I think if you cropped more off the left side and bottom, (basically, just getting the wheel and not as much of the tire) it would make the reflection more of a focal point. Second...as I said earlier, I really like the sepia tint you've used, but I'm not as sure about the graininess. I think sepia with a sharp focus would have make a much stronger photo.

I think the concept is wonderful and just a couple of minor adjustments would have made this good photo great.

Good luck in future challenges!

Sher :)

I almost missed the reflection in the hubcap. Pretty!

a little too out of focus for my taste, i may have tried to get a sharper image, however i like the idea 3

Great picture, I'm impressed that you managed to avoid being in the reflection. Nice subject.

I like the fisheye effect of the reflection however might be more effective cropping around the rim and including less tire. jacko.

beautiful tones, textures and shapes
but what really strikes me is the captured
reflection in the center :)

Interesting shot. I like the main reflection on the wheel.

Potentially great shot, in my opinion, but the heavy grain is a bit too distracting. I would prefer a sharper focus.

How did you get the photo shot without catching your own reflection on the middle chrome piece? interesting take.
