I guess Im probably just as ugly close up - poor strawberry, all his blemishes revealed.

The idea is cool but I think the strawberry has spent to much time under the lights or it is not fresh anymore. 6

Good close shot! Color is good and looks true to life.

The only fruit with the seeds on the outside... It's interesting. And I like red. Yet doesn't strike me as being something special.

One of the things I think about a lot in photographing cluster-flowered roses is 'how do I frame this so I'm not starting a new story' at the edge of the frame. In photos like this, I am inclined to feel comfortable when a small part of an object of interest is cut off - as is true for the seed at the top; but to feel uncomfortable about those cut in half or those whose majority is missing. It occurs to me that the seed in the upper left is the 'star.' It is most favored by the lighting and by its coloration, size, and features. If this were just a little closer to the "rule of thirds" line I think the photo might be stronger. All of these considerations could be accomodated by judicious cropping.

Nice maco with wonderful details of one of my favorite subjects! I never realized there were so many little fibers. <6>

7 - Good concept. For me if it were a little 'cleaner' and in finer focus it would have been much better.

very very well done...i dont think it is possible to get close without permanently having stawberry on your lens...color texture and clarity are great

Very nice , the only improvement I see is the lighting isn't balanced and there is too much shadow on the left which pulls your eye away from the shot ... very nice though.
