Nice detail and DOF, great exposure and colors. I am not sure how you might feel about a tighter crop to have more emphasis on the beetles. I think your detail is good enough that you could. Very good as is.

8 - Very good. These colors are very nice. I really like the left background, as well as the bit of anthers/stamen on the right, more of both would be good, but then the bugs would get a little lost. For me, more detail on the bugs would have been good, but 'see above'. Nice capture, and good texture on the petal too.

The bugs are very nicely done and very sharp. The 2 1/2 stamens at the right hand edge of the picture, though, are distracting.

The bug part is well focused. I'd concentrate on them and crop out some of the background. It's a tad distracting. I like the detailing otherwise.
