 my lens thinggy didn't open all the way, and it was just a perfect shot of the Cross, so i shot away without pushing it all the way open. i just contrasted the brightness a bit, but no cropping or shadow adding.

Forgotten, but not dormant. I can see where you are going with the challenge, though that doesnt' apply to everyone. :) It's a sad statement, but to true in our world.

I think if it were mine, I'd crop out the musician and then maybe clone out the tree below the cross. Making it a vertical rectangle instead of a horizontal one. And clone out the little spot above the cross as well.

exactly WHAT are you saying is obsolete here? The cross, Christianity or the guitar player? This is NOT funny!

Politics, war and work should also be declared obsolete, however as all of the aforementioned as well as religion is practiced my millions I feel it is out of context with the challenge.

Usually I don't like those religious related photos. but this one has something in it that actually made me stop for a while. I love it's minimalistic feel.
and as one who does not believe, I have to admit the idea for this chalenge is great.
