| the right bottom corner is a little distracting.. a plain white background could improve this photo... try dodging it to get it to match with the rest.. |

| Ok to not have bugs, you still meet the challenge, it is a close up....but not such a fine line between the can and the back ground. |

| Cute idea given the typical large number of bug entries. Although I'm often a fan of negative space, I find the large detailess are to the right distracting. Maybe color would have helped or better yet a few bug corpses on their back. |

Hmm. What is a blowfly and how strong are they? Is this the new superhero? Not quite sure how the photographic representation of the can adds anything to the original piece of art.

The images that always suffer due to lack of comments are the ones that are right in the middle ground. Everyone comments on the awesome shots. Some comment on the bad shots. But the middle ones, very few people say anything. So here I am to explain why I voted a 5:
You get kudos for the humor here. Heaven knows... a lot of the pictures in this challenge could really use some black flag! :-)
Still, I'd hate to vote this one high since it's not really close up or macro. Nor do I want to vote it low because it's still a decent shot. So that's how I ended up voting a 5. |

| It's a decent shot, but compositionally, there's just nothing strong to hold attention. Even when dealing with 'macros' or 'close shots' -- you can still pay good bit of attention to composition and rule of thirds or leading lines -- just have to get a bit more creative. Anyway...6...good job, but could be better if you spent more time thinking about it. |

Not really a macro to me.. The ideia is nice, at least diferent.
You could have used a flash difuser or if you have an of camera flash you could have pointed it to the ceiling, since you have this blown out part on the can... |
