the baby is adorable - however not close enough to constitute MACRO or even near-Macro. The focus is way too soft in my opinion

Fun subject. The DOF is a bit shallow to catch all of the cutie, but the huge eyescptivate. A change in crop might have strengthend it - perhaps more square.

I'm thinking this is not quite a 1:1 ratio photo & DNMC, IMO.... I love acronyms.

What a great expression and face! In my opinion, a sharper image and a square crop centered around the face (eliminating the background) would bring even more focus to the eyes. What a cutie!
