Nice use of preplanned color desaturation. The eyelashes and green eye are especially nice. I like it even more tightly cropped.

Nice use of color - subtle and effective. The color helps to concentrate interest at the narrow point of sharp focus in the photo. Good composition and details

Excellent selective desaturation, and masterful DOF. I like the razor sharp focus on the eye and some of the eyelashes.

It's been done to death this kind of shot, but it's technically well done. Desat is OK, but I don't know if it could be better in full colour, or the revealed colour somewhat stronger.

Beautiful. Great focus. Almost looks like selective desat on all but the eye, but it's probably an illusion.

7 - Good. Nice lash 'capture'. For me, closer cropping/framing to really get just the lashes and iris in, would have made this better.

Whew. . .THAT is up close and personal. Beautiful eye color, and I like the way the eyelashes in the back fade into the background. Very good macro shot.

Really nice. The single color saturation is great. I love the light on the cheekbone and eyelashes. Great reflection. This will probably win a ribbon. 10 all the way.
