I really was impressed by this 'eye' shot. One of my few 10s. I've seen so many, but this is really well done and with some creativity also. I can only think that people may not have liked the sharp edges of the window reflection, it almost looks fake.
Great job despite the dim voters! :)

the angle is hurting this as the lashed block too much of the iris detail.

There have been a lot of eye closeups on this site, but this one has the clearest image I've seen reflected in the eye. Your decision to desat the rest of the image really draws attention to the reflection as well. Very nicely done.

Nice photo. I love how just the eye has the color, and the reflection is awesome! Great job!

9 - Great shot. Interested to see how that 'window' got there. Great blend of the black/white and blue. Detail on part of the iris and the lashes is very good. The 'mirroring' of the lashes good too. Very good.

gave you an 8. Beautiful composition and detail. I just am not a fan of selective desat.

Interesting photo. The destauration gives this much more 'oomph' than most shots of this sort have.

Really nice job capturing the window, and I love the muted blues in the iris. Would love to know how you did this. Great shot!

Very pretty eye color, but the top portion of the iris is in shadow. I don't really care for the reflection. It doesn't look natural for some reason. The edges are too defined.

Another beautiful eye. Man, what a reflection. The single blue saturation is quite stunning. This is definitely a ribbon contender.
