I think this is very nicely done. Probably would have done much better at some places beside DPC, it's not their style.

Too underexposed for my tastes. Not sure what effect you were trying to accomplish with the darkness.

this is pretty cool...nice duotone look. But seems too dark overall to me. focus is right on, and side lighting brings out the texture quite nicely

nice creative touch on the color scheme. It loses a little bit though by losing the detail of the veins in the leaves

This is very similar to my darkness submission!! I like the tar-like leathery look to the leaves. The light skimming over them is nice.
