The size of this photo hurts it - it would have a better impact if it were larger. |

Very interesting button collection I think the it would have been better if the picture was larger. |

For this contest everyone who has the word âcircleâ in their title is getting a max 10 score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I upgrade to 10 due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge need to be reminded of the topic of the challenge â we really need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will give a 10. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of voting â but scores are all I have. |

For this contest everyone who has the word âcircleâ in their title is getting a lower score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I downgrade due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge know the topic of the challenge â we do not need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will most likely not down grade, but it better be good. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of protest â but scores are all I have. |

I like the idea - just wish you had not resized it so small.
creativity = 6
focus (a bit soft from what I can tell in this small image) = 2
image size = -2 |

Unique and interesting shot. Meets the challenge well on a couple of levels. IMHO, I think voters will probably deduct because of the image's small size. Because it is so small, you lose some of the detail that would otherwise be apparent (and I 'think' you have good DOF, but it's hard to tell). 7 |

Unfortunatly your shot is much too small to see any detail. Try this tutorial. If you don't have photoshop, most programs that come with a digital camera include these functions tho maybe with a different name. Hope that helps. |

Very tiny image. Hard to see much details in the buttons. Definately appears to be circular with circles making up the shape. Color seems kind of lacking and where there is color, it seems dull. The centered crop isn't the most exciting crop you could find, I'm sure. Focus seems soft on some buttons, but hard to tell since the image is so small. Overall just not large enough to be very visually appealing to me. ~Heather~ |

won't vote down for being so small, but should post larger images in the future.

Welcome to DPC, I can see that you are new to the site because of the size of your photo, arghhh it happens, anyway don't be disappointed you will be voted down (I won't) but use the space we are alotted next time! A whooping 640 pixels make all the difference. And you put an effort in your image and for that you get lots of points from me :) |

Creative idea! Fun. I wish it had been a little bigger and sharper, though. 5 |

This is so lovely...but I wish it were larger...the maximum 640 pixel size allowed...I'm sure others have commented about this...there is a tutorial about how to attain maximum image dimension...get images ready for challenges etc...those buttons look so pretty, how the light seems to dance across the mother of pearl...even at this tiny size...imagine how they would look at a larger size! They would be magnificent indeed! |

Relevance to challenge (2): 2
Color/Lighting/Exposure (2): 1-nice black background, subject stands out well.
Sharpness/Picture Quality (2): 0.5-small
Composition (2): 0.5-contrived, but you get half a point for the patience to set this up.
Creativity/Originality (2): 1

This looks like a very nice picture but the small size does not allow me to really appreciate. I still give a 5 because it meets the challenge and it seems well done. People will surely vote it down because of the size. |
