 The Norfolk Tides vs. the Columbus Clippers. The runner made it back safely, but on the next pitch, he was thrown out at second. Certainly no challenge winner, but I can't go to a baseball game the week of the Sports II challenge and justify not submitting!

A little belated, but I gave this an 8. Good capture. Good story. Good stop action, especially with the dust/dirt. Bigger (640) would have made this even better in my opinion.

Stop action at it's best.....so much so, the hand is basically invisible with the fast movement. Outstanding. The only thing I could think of to improve this image is the lighting factor on their faces. But I have to admit in an image of this category the faces aren't really needed to get the full effect. Well done. Judi

good timing, perhaps a little less contrast, or maybe a slight curves adjustment, would bring our some detail in the players faces

Great shot! Lighting is good given that it is tough to shoot under stadium lights. Good luck.

Yes. The dirt flying is great. Safe? DOF is nice. Seems a little dark.
