 Downend Cricket Club match, taken last weekend. I was lucky to get this shot - the game ended after the next bowl.

PP: cropped, levels, auto colour, made a colour adjustment layer for the sepia effect and adjusted opacity of the adjustment layer to approx 75% (in normal blending mode). Did this to try and make the shot look old and dated, also things in the b/g were bright and distracting. Small USM (15%, 50, 0) and save for web. If I can break 5.1 or so I'll be happy with this shot.

Fantastic processing here. Great composition, focus, lighting, etc. The cars in the background are a bit of a distraction, but not much you can do about that! :-) Great shot.

Sepia tones sometimes are over done in challenges , but this one works great with me, one of my top photos , great job.

Great action shot. Would have been awesome if your background wasnt so busy. Could you have taken from another angle and gotten just the pitch and a shallow background?

I like how the color desaturation gives it that "old-timey" feel. Too bad those modern cars are in the shot.

Never did understand Cricket. The desaturation adds a bit to this pic for me. Although the cars in the background distract a bit.
