My family spent a afternoon at the new Discovery Water Park that recently opened this summer. It was tons of fun! I wasnt going to enter this. I had an idea to use another shot of all the shoes laying around the blanket and our towls as well. It was a bit busy and blurry so I am using this shot. I only hope that this perspective with a so much to look at will not be considered busy either.

Hey thank you everyone for all the comments... I like to try things and to be a little different... If you look straight to the middle you can see the back of chairs with shirts on them and right in front of them is the pool... Perhaps there is a lot of stuff there but my point was to show the blanket, towels, shoes, and stuff waiting for the family to return because they are by the pool.. See the people at the top I didnt want them in it but they wouldnt move...:)
Anyways..I reall appreciate all of these comments...
Thanks...
Peace...

This image doesn't have a clear point of interest.

I like the concept - the image turned out a little too cluttered. I like the foregound towels and backpack except for the oof blue blanket and I like the umbrella and kids in the background - maybe less stuff in the middle would make the idea clearer? Where is the pool, the title makes me think a pool will be the focal point..

Maybe a different angle on this one. I can not even make out a pool here. Not sure what the focus is, but it sure is sharp and very colorful.

not so sure... looking at this pic i ask myself what do i see.... maybe a baby carry cot? some socks? not sure. lovely sky and colors, but rethink your point of shoot and show where family comes into this pic. at this moment i must strain myself to see some resemblance of people back there... sorry if i sound critical, it is my wish to show you the way i see it so that next time you will think about 'how it will be seen by others' and take it from a more critcal point of view..

Yellow is the perfect color for summer. The towels add a good forground interest. And I can (just barely) see people behind some rails. All the ingredients are present for a pleasant picture. All the stuff between the towels and the people could have been eliminated for a more focused presentation of your idea. Moving in closer to the pool would have helped a lot.

Sorry, this image just doesn't work, imo. There are too many items in the frame, its not composed to lead the eye anywhere and just doesn't say "Family".

too cluttered for my tastes but I think I get it. There just doesn't seem to be a focal point for this challenge. Nice colors!

I love the primary colors but the blankets and towels in the foreground are distracting to me. I'd crop them and it might make for a more interesting composition. Hope this is helpful.

Less foreground and more pool may have been a little clearer, but great idea

too busy for my liking. The sky and objects have very nice colors though, along with nice contrast. The focus is lacking however

While creative, the angle of the shot doesn't really tell me much. Perhaps if I could see the shoes and other items, it would be better.
