 Yes, yes, not very original, I know. Even more so as it is very similar to my 'Accidental Letters' submission.
Focal length: 40mm. Taken in complete darkness but for the lightbox under the leaf. The camera was mounted on a tripod.

I love the detail. I like the way the edges of the leaf seem to wrap around the lens/sides. I gave it a 9.

this is a nice shot. I like the lines shown. perhaps different lighting would have brought out the actual texture better

A bit unoriginal but the best leaf shot I have seen so far this challenge, technically it´s extremely well done, especially with lighting. 8 from me.

Nice green colour and very sharp near the centre. Less sharp on the top and bottom parts. DOF limited by lens?

As hard as I've tried not to, I really, really like this. I admit to being rather bored with leaves as a subject by now, because they're so overdone, but this one is different somehow. Perhaps it's the dark outline around the veins, or the way the precise focus draws me up through the picture, I'm not sure. But it's gorgeous. Great shot!
