 This is a picture a wine glass placed in front of this neat glass votive candle holder that I have. Actually, this particuliar picture was taken with a flash. Before taking the shot, I didn't realize that I had the camera on auto. Although I ended up with some glare on the wine glass, the extra light from the flash wound up bringing out the color better in the blue candle holder. I liked the effect. As always, I doubt it will do as well in the voting as I think it will.

I like the curve of the glass, but I find the background a bit too busy. Also try to minimise reflections by lighting up the background instead of lighting from the front of the subject. Jacko.

Sharpness of the glass and the deeply saturated blues really give this shot some 'snap'. Very nice overall! --8

I like the composition. The jaggies on the curves are a little distracting - they suggest to me that the shot is a little oversharpened (or perhaps not resized optimally). I like the patterns of light on the background.
