Simple yet very nice. I tried to do a similar shot of some small work boots I found in a forgotten doorway but didn't have even a tiny bit of your style to it. You can almost see the dry rot in the boots, they look as if they would crack to pieces if you touch them. Wonderful background....is that a studio drop? WOW.

Great composition and I think the frame works well. What doesn't work well IMHO is the lighting - seems to wash out much of the clarity and textures in the shot. Still a very pleasing image to the eye.

this is wonderful! I love the textures and the story. the highlight area lower left is a bit distracting, but the wall more than makes up for it. great composition and the challenge is certainly met well. This is one of my favorites! bumping up
