 I created an underlighted stage. Using a cardboard box, I placed a blue light in side, placed a thick sheet of glass over the box, then covered it in tin foil leaving a hole for the light. Placed the glass on it. The backdrop used is a bed sheet.

I love the background and lighting of this shot. It is technically strong in all regards - focus, exposure, composition even. I love it.

I would expect the colors to show thru a little more here. They aren't bad though. I like the lighting, particularly what's showing on the bottom of the piece. That's an unusual effect and I believe its effective.

Great original idea very well executed. This almost looks like a block of ice! Good detail and extremely attractive colors. I'm not sure it needs so much light in the background or if it could easily have been avoided. Good job! - 8

I just love how you made an ordinarily plain piece of glass very interesting with use of color! The lighting is great too, and makes this picture in my opinion.
