A very straightforward, head-on macro shot of a blossom. There's nothing that particularly excites me about it, but it's executed in a very technically-proficient way, so I have to give props for that. :-> Nice focus; slightly less extreme lighting might have helped bring out the blossom's color (though if you're shooting outdoors, I know you need to put up with what you're given, lightingwise). It's a good documentary photograph of that particular flower, or even the species, but nothing makes it particularly 'pop' for me.

Excellent angle and composition. Remove the other flower on the left with PS and this would make a really nice print. the flower's petals are a bit blown out but I know it must be hard to properly expose such a light color against a dark background. Good work. Jacko. 8

Looks washed out and overexposed on my screen...... perhaps it would have worked better if you shadowed the subject........ also is a little grainy... "neat image" could have helped alot........ 6

Good DOF but the flower color seems to be over exposed. Maybe a gama correction might fix. I like it anyway but a deeper flower color could improve it, (IMHO).=6

this is a really neat flower. very unique. there is one problem with this photo. everesposure. underexposing this photo might have helped you regain more sharpness that was lost when you took the photo. the photo composition is nice, the overexposure just seems to bleed all of the elements into indistinguishable parts to some extent. 6

Appears a bit overexposed, but like the DOF
