 This is a first on a couple of issues, never shot fire before, (blow some highlights), Never tired a double exposure shot.
Used bulb setting, took a shot of the campfire, quickly covered the lens with the lens cap, rotated over to where my daughter was standing in the dark, she had a small flash light.

unfortunetly, the entire image is out of focus. Next time, try to atleast bring one point of interest into focus, so that the subject stands out.

I like this one a lot. The red tones in the face work wonderfully with the warm tones of the fire. Not sure about the crop though. Seems just a touch awkward...

Good illusion maybe would have been more realistic if the person was in pain or screaming, well done.

I think that the overall softness of this picture really conveys a dreamlike (or nighmarish) feel.

I like this effect. To realy make this zing I feel that the face shuld be a little clearer and sharper. I know itsnot an easy thing to do, whilst keeping the whole abiance, but for me that would make the difference between a good score and a top score

I'm not sure what the illusion is supposed to be, but I just wish the face was crisp or the fire was - something. I like the colors and tones though.

too many artifcats. i assume because the low light/brightlight contrast, and over compression. shot's also kind of boring.

The lighting on the face really works. I'm not as positive about the expression. The overall composition is well done. 5

Nice lighting and focus on what I assume is a long exposure shot. I think your illusion is meant for us to believe that this guy is on fire. However, his facial expression does not protray that. Despite the challenge, this picture is well done technically. 8

First Impression: A little too red and "fuzzy"
Was I fooled ? not really. Looks like a head behind a fire.
I think more defenition to the face would have helped. Very difficuilt shot.
