You got quite a few useful comments on this shot.
I think it's good that you mention that the water drops are real, cause so many of the water drop shots aren't real. Unfortunately though, during voting people were not aware of this fact, and probably thought it was just another attempt to make a subject more interesting by throwing some water on it. I've never understood that theory. lol
I'm not really sure where the sharpest focus in this shot is. The part of the leaf that seems to have the most detail and appears to have the sharpest focus is in the lower left corner between the corner and the large water drop. See how the texture really comes out there, and not much in the rest of the shot?
The color of the leaf is good. Definately fits the challenge. I think that the lighting on the leaf itself is good, however, maybe a couple spots on the drops that appear to be a bit bright. Not a huge deal however, and actually might add a bit of variation to the shot that doesn't make it too boring.
Your angle and framing/cropping is good in y opinion, and I especially like how the leaf kind of falls off the photo in the upper left hand corner.
I'm not quite sure about the green in the border because it blends right in with the color of the leaf in some places, and we totally lose the border to the pic. Maybe if you seperated it with a small slice of black it would be more effective?
Overall a nice shot. Good job.

Solid shot - the whites are a little bright in the reflections - but the green is nice and the DoF is excellent. Good work, solid pic. |

Shallow DOF and imperfect water droplets add a lot of interest, in my opinion. I find the border a bit heavy for the shot, though. |

Although I really like shallow dofs, I think a wider depth of field would be better in this one, to capture more detail and texture from the leaf. Good pic, though. |

My eyes are wandering around this trying to settle on a *really* sharp drop, but not quite finding it.
It's a shame the big drop with the leaf refracted in in isn't snapping out at me, but otherwise I like this. The overall feel is and the colour are great.
Maybe a touch more contrast, darkening it a little, would help? |

good shot. well composed and focused. Don't like the light green part of the border, since it is unever. But i'm being picky there. Image is very lovely. 8 |
