I took a picture of an outhouse for a challenge too, except my entry did not do as well as yours. Nice black and white photo. Maybe a little cropped too tight?

FInally! Someone who followed directions, used the year for the title and submitted a GOOD photo. You deserve a 10!

I'm soooo glad this era has passed!! I nice shot. Good B&W tones. The photo is a good fit into the challenge, IMO. Maybe a wider view of the outhouse would make a slightly more pleasing photo. A shot that gives a wider sense of the area, including more trees, might convey the walk to the outhouse from the living cabin.

This is one that might really look good with a grainy filter. Sepia would be a fun option too. I find the shot just a tad too tightly cropped although the lighting and contrast is well done.

Very graphic and textural. Glad you took this to b/w; it really adds to the effect.

I can't help but be glad that these were out of date by the time I was born. :o) Nice black & white shot.

Great capture, like the b/w. I almost think that the DOF hurts a bit in this photo, I wonder how it would look with the trees in the background a bit out of focus?

Very fitting for the challenge. Nice lighting and I like the rustic"ness" of the old wood. Cropped a little close for my liking, though. 6
