Very cute model! Interesting choice of post procecssing. You used a mask and gaussian blur to blur out hte background I'm assuming. It gives the shot a sort of dreamy look. Personally I don't care for it myself. It looks like your sellection was a tad bit off around her right arm and just above the left arm. You lost the sharpness in the seperation between the sharp and the blur. Did you use the flash here? You have a bit of harsh shadow behind her head.

seems a little snapshotish to me. There doesn't seem to be anything "artistic" about the setup or framing.

The blur might be a little over done but I like the girls study of the spinning top. hard to find the illusion though.

Doesn't seem to be an illusion to me, since balance actually does exist and there's nothing extraordinary about a spinning top staying balanced...Just my opinion though...5

I like how the child's clothes and toy appear to contrast the dimness of the surrounding. I rate it a 7, 10 be the highest.

nice child portrait, not enough illusion

neat idea, but a little less neat image as well, and this would move this image up the rankings.

A nice shot of a very pretty young model, however it's just lacking something IMO for this challenge. There's a very snapshot-y feel that just doesn't work for me.

The image background is a little overdone. You can see the sharp edges on the little girl's arms and such.

lot of artifacts in this image. over compression? looks like you selectively blurred the background too. need to use some feathering if thats the case.

Sweet child, but the illusion doesn't have the "WOW" effect.

A real stretch to fit in this challenge. Nice pic though.

have you blurred everything but the girl and the top, or hae i been staring at the pc for too long? Something doesnt seem quite right about the edges of the youngster

Not sure I really get the illusion here and the floor looks really processed on the edges of the girl & top. Nice colors, but I'm sorry, this one just doesn't work for me very well.

First Impression: Sorry, if this sounds harsh, but I don't like the (sloppy) selection ad blur. Pretty Model :)
Was I fooled? No, I think a teensy bit of motion blur on the toy would have helped.

The blurring of the background is too obvious

Not too fond of the post processing on this one...the line between the floor and everything else doesn't look right.

NIce image, but I think your lines are a little too sharp

A pretty photo and such a pretty girl, not such a perfect example of illusion though
