| 5 - I like the concept and that you didn't 'explain' your year (don't need to). A photo of this in a time capsule would fairly well depict the era for future generations. Criticism; I would like to see more 'context' somehow, even a wider angle if that were possible. I can see you have applied some effects but I think you haven't quite nailed the 'feel' I guess you were going for. Perhaps a little lighter and possibly some grain, not sure. |

| The fit with the challenge just isn't there. I'm guessing you are trying to say that this is the start of WW II, but it could have easily been Sarejevo or the hunt for Bin Laden or many other conflicts. The photo isn't conveying to me the 1939 feel. |
