 Been lucky to have rain this week, but could never find THE shot.

This photo was taken across the street from my apartment. The building I live in is reflected in the puddle from the earlier rain.

Note: Photo was cropped, adjusted levels, part of the weeds were cloned out.

Afraid it's a little, ok no let me be honest here, it's a boring composition! I see where you are coming from, but it is often better to get the subject and the reflection in the shot together. Also for most images this sort of wide angle 16:9 crop suits panarama type scenes much better.

Oddly I find this shot interesting, while the other puddle shots I've seen so far have held little interest for me. I can't quite place it. Good job of making the ordinary an interesting subject. Maybe it's the odd mix of elements... building, sewer, submerged grass, rock.. very nicely arranged.
