this is a terrific capture but I find the shadow at the bottom superfluous to the shot and distracting

The wood is wet and that one drop adds to the composition nicely. Keep it simple. 7

Excellent capture. Sharp, clean. I like the use of negative space.

The drop is very good, but I'd like to see the bottom brownish part cropped away. Other than that, I like this composition. Also, the reflection in the drop is pretty.

Cropping out the entire bottom % of this would've made it much better, IMO. Otherwise good sharp fcus and good timing, but relatively uninteresting. Good luck.

Timely capture. I like it! care to share how this was done?

Great focus & catch. I love shots where drops act as in-focus lenses, very elegant. I think the grungy trough, or whatever it is, amplifies the clean, crispness of the drop by contrast.

how perfectly timed! the dark blur at the bottom seems a bit distracting to me, tho.

clean and crisp where it needs to be, but I think there's just a bit too much negative space here.

Similar idea as my entry, but better done. Probably too abstract for most DPC'ers, but I like it.

I really like the simplicity of the photo however the black at the bottom takes away some. 7

It can't be water. Glycerin?
