As forecasted during summers, Floridians get the pleasure of "Afternoon Showers". While out at the lake to spend a beautiful day with my family..the showers came. I was able to get a couple of pictures before the thunder, lightening and downpour was upon us.

I think there's too much exposure here due to the sun. How about bumping the contrast so that theother subjects come out?

Wow! Raining spaghetti? :)

I see slightly blurry silhouettes and the sun in this image, but no rain. This picture would be much stronger if it had a clear subject and would better meet the challenge if there was moisture visible.

although i can make out the rain in this, its hard to see, and at first glance the sun shining through the trees makes me think its not raining.

Shot has possibilities, but OOF really detracts from shot.

The sun created a flare, which works in some compositions, but not in this one. Also the definition on the trees is very low. Sometimes a hood on the camera helps, but when it is directly pointed to the sun there is not much you can do to prevent flare. Try other angles and techniques until you find one that works for this type of photo.

I have to work to find the rain. Not a whole lot of interest for me.

i feel there's a lack of focal point here. 5
