 Macro shot taken with my CoolPix (D70 is still in the shop...arggg), onboard flash.

Photoshop: cloned out (poorly) some anomalous spots in the circles, auto-levels and color, curves layer with gradient mask to even out the lighting from the fall-off of the flash.

-->Holy mackerel, I made the last page! Come on people! Well, this is a first, hopefully the last.

Really hard to guess what I am looking at. A bit more in focus would have helped.

The focus here seems far too soft, and all the reflections distract the eye. I have a hard time even deciding what I am looking at.

I like the very abstract feel of this. I don't get the title (but I'm not considering it in the score). This has some really nice sparkly/glistening effects and I like the lines/composition. Nice job.

Just too abstract for my taste I'm afraid - though I can imagine you were struggling, in LA, for rain :-)

ummm....tho you can't really see whats in the pic, it DOES make an interesting abstract...unfortunately those don't usually do so well unless your entering the 'abstract' challenge :-P (doh)
