Nice soft lighting and great skin. I can't decide if I like the lower light or not. It adds interest, but the color changes the mood of the soft lighting from the left.

Nice lighting design, but the shot is overall too dark.

The focus is nice and sharp,I don't really care for the red lighting. It looks like she is hurting herself. I wish you luck in the challenge.

The pose and expression are perfect. I'd like to see just a little more light on the subject, maybe a soft spot light on the face to hilight the expression.

I like the pose, I question the use of the fists though, I suppose the self defense title might explain it. I think a bit more light on the hair, to prevent it from blending into the background might have helped the score. Good luck

I think the mixed lighting types in this detract a little. Yellow tungsteon bottom right & blue daylight top left don't match. B&W conversion would overcome this.
I guess the title explains why the hands are in fists, but I don't find it so fitting for such an image.
Appart from that the image is quite nice.

Color is good but could have been a little brighter, so a bit more detail would be visible.
Other than that it looks like a wonderful photo.

Mix of warm and cool lighting has an odd effect... the areas lit with cool light are too low in contrast, it looks like to me, and slightly too blue to look natural. The fists give a sense of tension that is not reflected in the face, adding to the subtle confusion I get from this image.

I think the image is a overall a little dark. I like the lighting. I also like the direction the model is looking, it makes me wonder what she's looking at. Interesting.

For me too bright at the bottom and too dark at the top. Have the model look at the camera and it would also have more appeal.

I find it very interesting that she is using fists to cover her breasts. Body language experts will find something there.

This is very interesting. I don't normally like the effect ni has on skin, but the use here gives the model a glow as if she is a cherub. The grasp on her breast and the expression on her face make me wonder what's going on. The shadow across her breast and the bracelet are distracting.

She looks scared. IMHO lighting could have been better. 7

Her expression seems scared and she looks like she's punching herself. It seems like she should be more sensual not scared.

the expression on the model is great. I think it would have flowed through thhe image a little better if she had crossed her arms across her chest rather than balled up fists to the nipples. The fists on the chest look is kind of donkey-kongish and seem a little out of place in the imagey

The lighting could be a little better.... The pose doesn't look very natural

The lighting on this image is good but the tones are a little dark for my tastes. Composition, crop and POV are good as is focus. 6

Maybe if the hands weren't fists it might've been a bit more pleasing to the eye. Ok, I know the title, but..................... I'd up the lighting just a tad as well.

I think you need to work on the lighting. the title of the photo not withstanding, I still feel your model looks too stiff and uncomfortable

you are going in the right direction with the lighting but i think it could have been stronger with the light shining all the way to the head and not being slightly yellow cast.

I like the lighting and tones and the softness. She is certainly not unattractive, but the pose needs some work. Hope this helps.

I like the lighting in the bottom right, but think maybe a secondary light to seperate the model's hair from the background could help too.
