last-minute entry.
this photo breaks more rules than it follows.
the grain was hopeless before NeatImage saved the day.

in order to take this photo, I glued a set of macro rings (+7) to my UV filter. amazingly, I accomplished this feat and then dismantled them with no damage to anything.

getting a proper focus when your DOF is about 2mm is really hard...

lighting is one 60w bulb from below, right, slightly behind.
focal length 43.0mm

more light!!
The patern on the vessel is distracting & confusing, a plain cup would have worked better

its a cool picture but im not diggin the out of focusness. i would have liked it more if the flower on the cup was more in focus.

Nice image, I wish the drop wasn't so tight to the corner.

wow, love the idea, love the lighting, but the drop of milk is a bit dark, doesn't look nice and creamy, excellent otherwise

Good concept. Had the milk droplet been a bit...whiter or crisper, I would have scored it higher.

the design on the cup kind of takes away from the milk. Still a good photo. I would've liked the whites to be brighter/whiter.

Yep, that works.

Good idea, but the quality of the image itself is a let down. A sharper droplet taken up close and personal would improve your idea. 5

neat prospective very nice image suffers alittle for what might be high ISO noise...neat image may help it become clearer....otherwise it could be the compression under gone whan saved to dpc specs.
eigther way still a very simple and pleasing image good luck
