Are those specks sheep? I really like this image, but I think that I'd prefer to either see the sheep cloned out or the foreground cropped out to allow me to see enough detail to verify that those are sheep.

wonderfull, know i know you were going for the dark grass, but i find it to distracting, i would have cropped alot off the bottom, and left the "darkness" for interpratation with the clouds, and the shaddow behind the trees

wow, stunning. nice use of line and shadow. I like the dof you chose to use and the clouds just bring the triangular comp together. I think this is going to take top three. Only thing I think will hold it back is there are 60 million other darkness and light entries...though this one is the best I have seen so far. great shot

are those two fluffballs lambs? The tree (and mood) reminds me of 6 feet under. Love the looming tree shadow.

while I like the open grass space to dominate the picture, I think it dominates it by about 100 pixels too many. The photo is excellent and though provoking.

I love the deep hues. Nice pastoral shot for sure!! The single tree is balanced by the two sheep. I like this very much.
