More a pet snapshot, than a study of shoes

Even though the dog appears to be a bit out of focus - I love this photo. Nice composition and such a cute subject matter to go with a well worn pair of work boots. 9

Great title -the soft glow on the boot is a nice idea with a soft puppy. Yet it seems that the puppy should be a tad bit sharper/in focus.

very cute - 8. I might have rated it higher if the outside boot was not over-exposed.

would be a nice shot if the lighting didnt cause the puppy to blend into the shoe shadow

Very very cute idea but it could have been executed perfectly. A lower angle would get a better view of the dog and give it more of a realness and you shouldn't have to worry about the cluttered background ;) the lighting is position at the wrong place, plus it's too harsh, if it was a little bit more diffused that placment would not have been seen. But good working your model

too bad you couldn't get the puppy to chew on the boots. This photo also seems more about the puppy than the shoes, its a litlle blurry and there are some hot spots on the back of the boots.

this one looks nice! I hope you had a more uniform light on both shoes, but looks pretty attractive

The light is very harsh on the left boot and the dogs face seems just a tad out of focus.

I would probably put a bit more breathing space all around so that the puppy's foot is not cut and the top and bottom of the boots have enough breathing room. 6
