| looks a bit over-processed to me, the rocks are pretty smooth and there is a slight glow around the boots |

| It's all about the atmosphere. I love the way you've used the slope, filling in the bottom right with the boots and revealing the distant hills on the left. |

| I can see that this presented a real challenge with the DOF. Looks like you did a lot of sharpening to try to fix it... did you try USM at differing levels, say, 5% at 40 pixels, 10% at 10 pixels, and then 80% at .5, or some progression like that? That sort of "USM cocktail" comes in handy sometimes. |
