Brian, I love this picture! I missed the challenge because I was out of town, but I really like this! I'm sorry the voters didn't share our appreciation of it enough!!!

For me, if you had cropped out more from the left hand side, this would have more of a high contrast impact.

A very 'busy' image... I'm not sure what you want me to look at. Nothing jumps out at me and says "look at the contrast here!"

I think there is a contrast shot here, but I don't think it is this one. The tree leaves are a bit distracting, another vantage point lower with the colorfull background might have produced more natural contrast....a style issue regardless. Still a nice shot.

I fail to see the connection to his challenge. Perhaps you could explain it to me VIA PM for a better understanding.

As for he photo itself there appears to be some nasty camera shake or blur in this photo.
