Taken soon after sunrise on a misty morning. Cropped, increased contrast, sharpened, desaturated, Neat Image. This was my first attempt with my new Canon EF 24-70 1:2.8. I think I am going to like this lens!

Really super tones here, brought out by the contrast. I like the point of view, too.

I like this shot: the background mistiness is a nice atmospheric touch, as is the texture of the wood and smoothness of steel rails.

Nice contrast. I wonder how this would look if cropped to one side or the other so the tracks don't vanish down the center of the photo?

My favorite kind of shots are tracks, paths, and roads - so you've won me over from the start. The fog in the distance is wonderful. Wish the lower part was as crisp as the middle parts though. I'd also like to see the bridge a little better, less dark. Love these lines!

This is an excellent high contrast image. The contrast adds to the tension and supports the 'unknown destination' theme of the image... nice work :)

Strong shot. The focus seems a little off on the boards, but it could be my monitor. Excellent tonal range. 9.

it would work better for the "perspective" challenge, IMO. Nice shot, regardless.

Industrial vs nature and decent lighting. I like it. Might want to title it more simply.

Fit Challenge Criteria: 2/2
Color/Contrast: 2/2
Composition: 1/2
Photo Quality: 1/2
My Subjective Affinity: 2/2

On first view, this is one of the best photos I've seen. However, there are a few points lost for technical aspects. Mainly, the focus is weak on the wood in the tracks and the composition should've been either more off-center, or directly in the middle for best effect.

well rendered. Tones used work great for subject. Lighting perfect. 9

The subject matter and lighting is superb, but the composition is a little too central? Should score well nonetheless.

Great shot, but very mysterious and creepy. Kind of place I don't know that I'd want to be alone at on a foggy night. The wood in the foreground is a nice touch, it adds some great contrast. 9

I would like to see this without the wood in the foreground. I feel it pulls me back from the distance.
