What a fun moment! Nice Picture. The background is a bit busy, maybe a little more contrast would help. That branch is perfect for climbing!

The over exposed portion on the tree kills this shot. You could actually crop most of it out.

Nice composition. The highlights are a bit distracting for me.

A cool idea but the lighting is distracting for me.

Nice message and great photo for the family album.

He should be looking at the camera.
Too much glare off the trunk on the left side.

Nice subject and composition, a bit too light for my taste.

I find the bright patch on the left distracting. perhaps a closer crop to get rid of the largest part? (IMHO)

This could be a ten without the overexposed areas! Great comp and subject Interesting.

Nicely composed, however the overexposed bit to the left seems to be stealing the essence.

Dappled light is one of the hardest to shoot in for the reasons you've found out here. The bioy and background are perfect but completely overtaken by the overexposure on the trunks

I love the fact he isn't posing. The limb seems to go on forever. The sun shadowing is a little distracting, but hey it's outside in a tree - what else can you do. I really enjoyed this shot. Great Job.

maybe a blurred background would help, too much doppling effect

A good picture for this challenge. I would have liked to see more contrast. Portions on the left hand side are blown out. The resulting white detracts from the image as a whole.
