Did u hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete Proving nature's laws wrong it learned 2 walk without having feet Funny it seems but by keepning its dreams it learned 2 breathe fresh air Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else cared! - Tupac Amaru Shakur |

I love it! Very bold and colourful. The composition is striking. |

I like the way the red stands out. I would also like to see the original, maybe with a soft focus, or slight blur, just to see if the "mood" changes dramatically. |

Nice composition, but the solarizing kind of kills it. Would have been better without it. |

Would have been better without the posterization |

I'm trying to figure out how you did this without consuming the subject first...very nice. |

The color alteration of this doesn't really work for me. |

I like the effect, what is it?? |

I'm not really into the saturation. I think the shot is very cool and has potential though. I'd use zoom to crop out some of the sky but keep the rose in position as well. |

I like the angle of this shot, I would be curious to see what it looks like minus the effects. |

I like it, the splash of red on an otherwise muav (is that that somewhat purpilish color?) background. And I figure you had to be 'On the Road' to thae this picture. High marks in my book. |

Like the colors, not a big fan of this type of thing, but overall the composition is ok. I wish the horizon was straight. The power lines are kind of out of place IMO. Giving you a 7 for imagination and originality. |

scewing with the color does not make this any better. Probably would have been better untouched. Would be good in not for the powerlines. |

I think this would have been an excellent photo without the heavy modifications... When a photo is modified to the point where it doesn't look like a photo anymore, it loses points on my scale :( |

I found this photo interesting. Almost doesn't look like a photo with the high saturation. Good find of a poppy in such a place. |

Good job... I like the grain and artistic side of this challenge. |

you shouldn't have used that effect |

Kool shot, love the poppy! |

I would really like to know how you achieved this effect.... almost lilke a painting |

The posterization is kind of distracting. I would like to see this as a regular pix and the top cropped down to the top of the right guard rail. |

In my view, the process doesn't work all that well for the subject chosen. |

I'd like it better without the screwed up levels, I think. The lone poppy is striking. |

the filter effect is a bit too heavy for my tastes |

A stunning photo, and even a bit frightening. The unconfortable oversaturated colour gives the photo a very special feeling and a big contrast of the road and the red flower. Eye-catching! |

I'm not impressed by the post-processing. I would love to see this photo in its original form. |
