What a great shot here, and I love the idea behind the composition, as it works for me

Now this is great. I wonder how many people here know the branches are called tines? Is this a fallow deer? I would be interested to know where this fellow was. I love theis composition. I am making it a favorite and he gets a big 10.

The border is quite distracting. A much thinner border might work. Also appears oversharpened.

Very cute picture, but I don't get the title. (The buck looks kind of angry because of the black on its face) Nice, but I think the lighting could've been better.

Picturesque scene. You should have shot "Bambi" with a tranq and cleared away the cluttering branches.... oh uhm maybe not.

Forgive me if I'm off on this, but this looks like a really well photoshop rescued pic. I voted another pic down because the visual cue on this pic is an antlered animal. The visual relationship to branch is a little too much for me. Not beyond reason though.

Cute animal shot, perhaps not a great branch connection.

A great pose, and very well composed, but such a pity you missed the sunlight and it's shrouded in shadows. What does the title mean?

This is great, but there's a lot of noise in this one. Also, colours on the sunny side of the grass seem a bit blown, this probably was taken using tele and then cropped a lot... But the photo is very well composed and I like it anyway.

Seems a bit grainy on my screen and for me, the object in the upper left detracts a bit from the photo. I like your take on the challenge and I think the black border works well.

Fits challenge. Image oversharpened for my tastes - it introduced some distracting noise (noise ins't a bad thing if it enhances image). Like the POV and the crop, focus is well done. 6
