 Had this sitting around the place. I always meant to have shot but I never did, at least not since I bought it.

Post: Layer adjustments for levels (25%), brightness/contrast and hue/saturation (both 75%).USM. Resize. USM.

Greetings from the Critique Club. Nice job photographing this delicate branch. You've chosen a composition with a strong diagonal line wich helps to give the image impact. The lighting is soft which also adds to the overall impact of the image. However, I do feel the image is a bit dark on the bottom of the first and last lantern. I don't think another light source is necessary, but perhaps a reflector to gently add light to those areas. Still, lovely image overall.

This is a stunning example. The light and the delicate pods hanging from the single branch is wonderfully captured. The tonality of the fall colors of gold and deep brown with a hint of green are stand outs against the black. I like that it leads your eye up and back down. Best of the buch I've seen so far. 10

Well, I am biased because I love these little guys and what a perfect portriat for them! Great lighting, not too colorful or bright... just right. I love the focus and compositon and think this is great.
