where is this at?

Very nice capture, but I think the focus is a bit off. I can't really find a spot that's in focus here, except maybe the grass in the very foreground.

There's too much to look at in this picture. A better crop would make this a higher scoring picture.

I don't care for the composition.

I'm sorry but this looks like the everyday snapshot. Nothing really stands out about this.

Not at a good angle for a sports shot... and too many distracting shapes in the background.

There is a lot going on in this photo. In my opinion, all the stuff detracts from the 'Branch'. Cropping might make it more suitable for the challenge.

Ibteresting landscape, had me looking at the detail for ages. It probably hasn't quite got enough branchiness to make an impact

cropping needs improvement. probably crop it length-wise, but take out the silos in the background to concentrate more on the action

I really like your take on this challenge. I closer shot/crop on the cycle and the river might have been better, because the background is full of distractions. Never-the-less a nice shot. Thanks for being different.

River Crossing, Franki?
Saw this in your Inner Mongolia album from the XL1000 list!
Welcome to DPC.

I would have cropped this much closer so you just have the motorcycle and the river. The background adds nothing to the picture. It looks like you have some nice water splashes around the wheels of the motorcycle.

Cropping out the background would have really brought this shot out. As it is the buildings really take away from the water and the motorcycle.

the branch of a river is a good idea, but the focus on this is the motorcyclye, any water would do, tad grainy looking also

There is a lot to look at here ... it feels like there is too much in the photo. Also, the centre composition of the bike and rider (with soft focus) really appears to be the main subject for rather than the river.
