Great texture and what a wonderful tree! Nice perspective. The blown areas hurt the photo somewhat. I think the branch in the upper third looks like a perched vulture or large bird. Interesting... |

**Greetings from the Critique Club!**
Wow! I almost did one just like this! :) I love the angles and the textures. You really captured the age and the feel of this tree. The angle of the shot is great, as I'm sure you were trying to get as much of the tree as possible in the photo.
Some things I would work with: The lighting seems a little flat, probably from the over-exposed areas at the top. Also, the leaves in the left bottom corner really take away alot from the overall photo. It would be a much more powerful photo without that distraction.
Overall, I really like it, and I think you did a good job. Keep up the good work!

Good teture in the bark, and line in the branches and tree trunk. Seems to be a slight lack of focal point (or resting places) for the eyes. Maybe something like for eg: a bird resting on a branch? |

Great subject for this perspective. The ancient, weathered bark invites the eyes up and around. The splash of green LL is a nice touch. |

Neat shot- I like the texture. I wish that it was a bit more fucused on the branches than the trunk. Also, the bright patches at the top are rather distracting. |

I love the leading lines formed by the trunk's unique texture! |

You made this point of view work!. Good use of DOF. The contrast give great texture as well as emphasizing the 'line' of the branches. |

Good texture and focus. Seems a bit overexposed at the top of the shot. |

Too overexposed and blurry. |

Nice use of perspective, good focal range and detail. Would have been better possibly in B&W or sepia. Some added contrast really helps. Maybe move around so that the leaves at the bottom aren't in the shot, or you could have cropped the bottom 10-15%. |

wow, great tree! could use some work with hue and saturation levels to help with the chromatic aberration around the upper leaves |

nice one; like the green and the angle and DOF; part of the sky a little bit overexposed. |
