I really like this portrait. Everything about it is very visually correct. The color of her skirt compliments her and the brick colors. The green color is also repeated in the weeds that are growing out of the alley path. Wonderfully composed. |

Hi Logan. Good shot. You've captured a really nice expression on your subject's face. The shot looks like it is quite natural and has a good feel to it. Now for the analysis. The colors are somehwhat drab and the placement of the subject within the image is not very flattering. I find the drainpipe and the turquise paint between her legs to be distracting. I might suggest sharpening the image and playing around a bit with shadows and highlights. Though the angle is different, it makes your subject appear quite small. Looking through some of your other shots, I'd say that you could do better though it is not really "that bad" but it is really not "that great" either. This is just my opinion. Hope it is somewhat useful.

You have a beautiful model. I wish she was in front of a different backgraund. I think you should do ok though. Good luck. |

Is it my eyes, or is there a bit of a green cast on this picture? The angle seems to make the model appear shorter than she should too, imo. |

Nice, casual portrait. I might have cropped out the dumpster at the very top, but again, nice portrait. |

I don't mind that the subject is standing in an alley, but there's a lot of distracting stuff in the background. Nice expression on the girl's face and good colors. |

I find myself looking first at her skirt, then her surroundings. I want the face to be the focal point and hers is not even well focused. |

Pretty model, cool outfit, great smile and flattering look to her. She almost looks too well dressed for the environment she's in. Overall a good effort and a good full body pic. She's very photogenic, I hope you get to shoot her again with some different backgrounds. |

The colours are nice as is the lighting. The angle of the shot has worked against you, I feel. By going from a high angle, you've given the impression that your model has very very short legs. |
