Nicely composed. I like the color effects in the wood grain. Sky is a bit grainy. You might try NeatImage to smooth the sky. You can download a trial version free off the internet.

There's perspective, but I don't really care for this picture. It's not in very good focus and the spots of colors on the pole make it a bit distracting.

I don''t like how the pole is all mottled with noise and funky colors and is in the middle.

There is a lot of noise in this shot, looks as if it was underexposed and the exposure improved in an editing package. Always a good idea to overexpose a shot which includes a lot of sky or water if you are shooting on auto as the large expanse of sky or water can fool your camera into underexposing. Hope this makes sense.
