I was driving around trying to find a photo op and this horse caught my eye. I parked and got out. He continued to graze. The fence was so interesting that I decided to make it the focal point. Having missed the perspective challenge by one day, this served both purposes for me because this is about 2 miles from our house. We had moved away for 18 months and came back, so this seemed fitting for my destination. Slight crop - no other post editing.

Nice crisp color and focus on the fence. Good DOF on the horse & background too. Looks very homey! ;-) Beautiful place.

I like the idea and how you framed the horse in the one square without cutting him (or her) off.

Amazing, 3-dimensional crispness in that rusty fence! Awesome! I love the muted, dreamy effect of the greens, yellows and blues. Congratulations on a really great shot.

Focus should have been on the horse and the wild flowers...

Love the close focus on the fence and the blurred background, its still clear enough to see the horse and pasture though. Time of day the photo was shot was good...sun not too strong.

This is a great shot! The textures of the fence offsets the pasture and perfectly frames the horse nicely.

I don't get the relationship between the photograph, the title and the challenge topic.
