i love the composition, but i find the graininess detracts from it

Interesting picture. Not sure what the bottom of the picture is and there is some noise going on here. I like the reflection. Nice interpretation.

Very tiny and slighly out of focus plus not being quite sure what it is makes it difficult to score it well

Interesting photo, I really like the concept.

grainy and too small, perfect bubble though

I am sorry but the image is too small you might want to check out the tutorial here about sizing your images for challenges. It is found here:
//www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26

If it was bigger I could give a better critique on it.

A little grainy for my personal taste, but I like the reflection in the bubble itself.

Very cool.

Please don't be offended by this comment. I am making an effort to comment on all images that I scored below a 5. Although your image meets the challenge requirements, I believe attention to the following might have served to make it work better for me (Mind you, this is only MY opinion):
Image is much smaller than the allowable size. It's very grainy, and doesn't really make sense to me. It is interesting how you were able to capture the reflection in the bubble though. I do like the idea of B/W.
