So, I'm perusing the past "bubbles" challenges, and came across your entry.
That description is hilarious! Well done! Granted, the image isn't perfect, but what a cool and original idea!

| Yikes.. what IS that? Very interesting look and feeling of texture. No clue what that is but it looks.. well gross and very alien. Lighting is good and composition works. I think the soft focus lets this image down though, I feel my eyes straining to find something in crisp focus and its not working. I think it'd give this photograph a nice boost with a sharper focus and maybe even a black border to finish it off. I gave a 4 |

| For me, I wish this was more in focus as I'm squinting to try and distinguish what the reflections are...if they are indeed reflections...hmmmmm |

| A very evocative image. I enjoyed this as my eye was wandering all over the place trying to 'construct' whatever it was that makes up the alien. It is unsettling and perhaps unnerving, but that's what makes the shot. Good title too. |

| I like your title on this. It certainly does make me think of an alien landscape, though I find myself wanting to find some point of focus on the photo. My eye is drawn to the bubble at the bottom left, which doesn't create a particularly good 'balance' to the photo - for me anyway, and that is where I might begin to look to improve the image if it were mine. It would be fascinating to learn what the reflections (if that's what they are) are of. |
