I took a piece of plexiglass adn laid it between two chairs. Then, I turned the bottle over, removed the lid and shot from underneath. Then, I made a big mess, so all my reshoots had specks of dry white out in them. Yuck. Also, the reflection from the deck where I was shooting was evident, and still is to some degree in this shot.
the blue background is the sky overhead.

nice perspective

Interesting from below composition - I would have preferred some light on this side, however.

I don't really care for the hang-in-mid-air feel the shot gives off -- I presume you shot up through glass. Possibly without the cap/applicator it would have not felt so vertiginous. The lighting being de-emphasized on the liquid paper spill from the bottom also detracts a bit as it makes it a rather darkish shade of grey instead of the white I'm used to. The idea is sound, it's the specific excecution I'm having some trouble with.

Everything about this picture is good, color, clarity, compostion, lighting. The only thin I might suggest is that perhaps if you removed the label this would improved it.

In my opinion this angle makes or breaks this photo and because the challenge is "liquid" and this angle doesn't demonstrate the "live" nature of the subject matter. In a different challenge this picture could be very impressive.

I like the angle that you chose to shoot this at.

Novel idea - capture from beneath! Capturing the pool of "white out" from above may have caught more "liquid" detail. As it is now, it looks very flat.
